It's hard to vote for the most asinine character considering (as many have pointed out) that just about every character was dim witted. The easy pick would be Samantha because she did so many dense things, but I'd like to vote for George (her boss). He admittedly believes she has pink eye, a highly contagious infection, yet he allows her to prepare and serve food?????

Yeah the boss was pretty terrible. I'd say the mother was slightly worse, though. Samantha lives at home with her mother and goes from being perfectly fine to literally decaying in 3 days. but as long as she's wearing sunglasses her mother can't tell? Her teeth had turned completely black, she had a giant bald spot, she's losing ridiculously large amounts of blood through every orifice, and her mother thinks she's on drugs. Granted, she was. But that was so obviously the least of her problems at that point. Ridiculous.
shareI agree that in no way should she have been working around food, but having worked in food and beverage for almost 30 years I can tell you that no matter how sick or contagious you are there are managers who will make you come in if you can't cover your shift or risk losing your job. I have worked 8-10 hour shifts with a 102 fever and also while havin to run from behind the bar repeatedly to throw up.

Ironic isn't it? I've worked in a couple restaurants and they always had signs everywhere saying when you couldn't work around food. My favorite was "no matter how small it was if you had any open cut or wound on your hands per state law you couldn't work". Ha. Yet your bosses wouldn't let you leave if you were throwing up every five minutes.

shareWithout a doubt it's the doctor. I'm not in the medical field, but I've never seen a rash that is all blue and veiny like that. Plus, if someone comes in and you think they have an SD or STI, you run tests and do a pap. Also, if he wasn't concerned enough with the first visit, then when the walking dead came in the second time he should have put her in quarantine instead of sending her home and telling her not to come in contact with anyone.
