I so wish a sequel with this budget and tone could be made. If they get Thomas Jane back, get a 10-20 mil budget I am sure it would be a hit.
I would love Jane to be the Punisher again as IMO war zone did not reboot it the way they wanted. The 2004 film did great on DVD so just market it as 'Thomas Jane returns'. If we don't get one though we always have Dirty Laundry as a short sequel/epilogue to the 2004 film.
unfortunately the Punisher has a small amount of fans compared to characters that are similar to him. the best we can hope for is a small cameo in a major marvel film. But what is more likely is that he'll make an appearance in one of their netflix series if they ever get that project off the ground.

Thomas Jane should appear in a cameo in Age of Ultron. I dont want to see another reboot just go back to 2004 ignore war zone and continue off that. They dont even need to continue it just Thomas Jane as Punisher and leave it at that they dont need to mention the 2004 movie or anything.
