I've wanted a sequel to the 2004 Punisher the moment I left the theater. It is my favorite movie of all time and the "sequel" Warzone just didn't live up to the character that Tom Jane portrayed in the original. (yes I'm aware of the Dolph Lundgren movie but I'm not referring to that here).

They need to pay whoever they need to pay to get a true Punisher sequel made. Hell, give this director the helm, I'm sure he will do a fantastic job. If they made a sequel with Tom Jane as the punisher and they take the same direction as this short you can count me in for at least $200 worth of tickets because I will going back to the theater until it's on blu ray and DVD.

War Zone was meant to be a sequel to the 2004 Thomas Jane one? I didn't think they were set within the same continuity.

War Zone was a reboot, it has no connection to the 2004 film.

Agreed. This is awesome. Great of all involved to have gotten this made. Wish there was a sequel on the horizon like a sequel to Dredd.
