Whats up with Liev Schreiber?

I love Curb Your Enthusiasm and feel this movie is an extension of that show. Also loved everyone in this movie including Liev Schreiber who has an uncredited role. Just curious to know why this is.......the uncredited part not the love part :)

He isn't credited because of a part of his contract with Showtime for Ray Donovan. Since Clear History was an HBO production he could not be credited. As usual he did a great job with the underwritten role

Man, that's ridiculous. Live Schreiber was great in this film.

Ah! Interesting. Thanks MrPink08. Btw Ive read that most of the charcters lines were ad-libbed and Nathan/Rolly still owes Tibor $1300! Haha

"You're in Chechen kahoots!"

"No, this is Chechen coincidence."

reply

lol he was great...

"I want you to stop talking right now."

How is it contractual, when he's the voice of HBO's "Hard Knocks"?

reply

Liev was great.

Also agreed re LS's performance. BTW, I wasn't sure if those were the real original members of Chicago. Thanks for the confirmation!

I am a little outraged or very miffed, whatever. But, yes, Liev did a bang-up job bringing to life the character, including the lovely accent and adorable pony-tail. I truly loved it, especially after enjoying his tough as nails and sweet, caring family man role on Ray Donovan. And THAT may be a clue as to why he was totally and unfairly dissed re credit: Clear History ( a somewhat half assed product, is an HBO production, while Ray Donovan is a SHO production and maybe there is a proprietary somethin happening here. I strongly recommend that any of you who enjoyed Tibor ( the name has a Simpsons connotation at urban dictionary ) to check out Ray Donovan. I got it at my library, ( bonus features on the Dexter dvd ) and am horny for more.

I would guess if there were a problem about him being credited in HBO original programing, that would apply to his 24/7 duties as well that air on HBO but he's listed as the narrator for those episodes.

People still ask this question? Anyone famous who works uncredited, is because they worked for less than scale. Union rule loophole.
