What a terrible film.

I lost track of how many thing did not work......Eva's accent for instance - what the hell was that about?

But Larry Davids character was just neither likeable nor Sympathetic and just plain arrogant and abusive.

It worked in Seinfeld as he (Jerry) had 3 others like him for support and went through women and associates like books at a library. It worked in Curb as he has a family who has to accept his- cause that's what families do. But going to a totally new place and acting like this? and then having EVERYONE like and accept his crap?

Plus the whole premise is stupid - he did not make an unfortunate error or miscalculation in judgement - HE WAS A JERK. He basically quit and did not deserve sympathy.

Do you live in a fairyland where everyone is a Santa Clause? That's the whole reason why Nathan didn't get his billion dollars, cause he is a prick.

Not sure if you are asking me or he deleted post (always makes things a little confusing.

If me.......... I know that, but he is still written in the script as the hero- the wronged.

If you want a likable/sympathetic lead role on every movie go watch a superhero movie, go watch the avengers with your kids or something.

What's the point of a sympathetic likeable character if there aren't going to get their way in the end? What an idiot. He gets his comeuppance all throughout the movie for being a prick and that's where all the jokes come in. Good lord, how fuqqing dumb are you? You can't even come up with a legitimate gripe. You sound like a complete retard.
