So let me get this straight. Sarah Palin's slutty daughter gets knocked up and then gets praised for it by getting a tv show. What kind of society do we live in?

Funny how the right-wing will manage to put some kind of positive spin on this.

Didn't she say that the Obama daughters watched too much Glee? I don't think she has any stones to throw at anybody.

While I'm glad she doesn't have to live in poverty and has made the best of the situation, I don't think she should be rewarded, either.

Couldn't agree more. Let's keep putting this teenage whore on a pedestal.

What really irks me is her aw-shucks gosh-darn rootin-tootin down-home persona that claims to not want attention yet continues to be a media whore at every opportunity.

I wonder how many of the people calling Bristol a whore never miss an episode of 16 and Pregnant, Keeping Up With the Kardashians or The Jersey Shore.

I've never called Bristol a whore, and I've never seen episodes of any of these shows. I don't think she is a whore or even a bad person, but I don't think she should be rewarded or put on a pedestal for doing what thousands of other girls do every year.

I've always said that when her mom was put in the V.P. slot, she should have said that she had another daughter at home who couldn't be there with the family, "because she is a newlywed. And, we're so thrilled--she is making me a grandmother."

If Bristol was 5 months pregnant, she should have been married for 2 or 3 months at least, at the time.

Instead, they trot her and her baby daddy out on stage and say, "But, it's okay, because they're getting married." Yeah, right.

How many of us really believed that wedding would come off?

If a Democrat had done the same thing, the family values crowd would have been screaming the loudest about how terrible and immoral it was.

Can you say "hypocrite"?

If you're too old to cut the mustard, you can always lick the jar.

Imagine this, if you will. It's 1997...Chelsea Clinton gets knocked up by a dropout loser...goes on to have the baby, but doesn't get married or continue her education or contribute to the betterment of society in ANY way possible....

Comments? Glenn Beck? Rush Limbaugh? Sarah, Michelle? Anybody???

Knocked up and then has the nerve to go around to schools and sing the praises of abstinence.

Abstinence only education does NOT work - and Bristol is a perfect example of this.

The right wing tendency to stick your head in the sand and pretend sex does not exist has never worked as a method to prevent pregnancy (or STD's).

She's had a real job since her son was born
