It will find strong competition from Zootopia (fair, it was such a great movie) which seems to win easily most of the awards. I hope Finding Dory gets AT LEAST a nomination for Best Animated Feature. But Kubo and the Two Strings seems also like a strong competitor.
shareFinding Dory will definitely get a nomination for sure. I personally would love it if Kubo won best animated film since its easily the best animated film this year in my opinion. That said, Zootopia will probably win it cause it's a much safer choice for the academy
shareThe Pixar name will ensure high chances for both a nomination and possibly a win. Zootopia may be the consensus favorite for most but lest we forget what happened to The Lego Movie and Wreck-It Ralph. Personally I'm pulling for Kubo or one of the foreign nominations depending on what they are, but I won't hold my breath.

I remember Brave winning over Wreck-it Ralph, but I also remember Frozen winning and Monsters University not even getting nominated. I think both Zootopia and Dory should get nominated - and Kubo even if I have yet to see it - and I don't really care who the winner is.
