Question about Alice's daughter Lizzie in BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS?

The local PBS Station cut Episode I after the first 1/2 hour, so I never understood how Lizzie came to be recognized as the daughter by her father and had contact with him. Was Lizzie adopted after her birth? How did Alice know who she was? Alice must have learned that to be willing to take the rap for murder. Can someone summarize what happened in the last 1/2 hour of Episode I. THANKS.

I just skimmed through S2E2, and that story is carried over from Episode I and concludes the storyline. Depending on when your local PBS is doing its fundraising, there may be a repeat airing of Episode I. Ours is just finishing season 1 and nothing is on the horizon. Fundraising time.

Answers to some of your good questions may await you in Episode II.

I saw what I assume was the full episode, and I still feel like I missed some things. The other characters were able to piece together that Alice and John had met in the 1930s, and thus could have had a child together. The writers were careful to show us Jean seeing Alice and John kiss in the series two opening flashback scene set in the 40s, yet Jean knew other info about how the couple met, relating it so quickly it was as if viewers were supposed to already know it.

And later when the group was working out how John had been involved in the chemical experimentation, they seemed to know he'd faked working for a fertilizer plant, which was another detail that seemed to come from nowhere.

'I borrowed some of your clothes' said Alice to Lizzie.

No way tall Alice would fit into any of much smaller Lizzie's clothes.
