Did it have trouble finding a distributor or something? Schreiber looks REALLY young in this...

He must of thought the role warrented weightloss... I usually enjoy liev ! Hope this doesn't change that :/ the last film I watched with liev was " the reluctant fundamentalist " which was superb.

This must be before 2005 at least, because Joop Doderer died in 2005.

Is that when this film was made? coz i just saw the trailer and the quality of the film abd the style of clothes looks to be around 2001, but it's being released in 2013.... what films did they reject that they felt they had to release a film over 10 years old!

Cany anyone explain this?

This was shot in 2000 as "Dial 9 for Love".

It got shelved after filming was done because the production company pulled out, and there wasn't enough money to finish it.

That's right. It was shot in 2000, but after that it was shelved. The director tried for years to get his movie back and finally succeeded.

Read the trivia - it was filmed in 2000 or 2001
