This Septuagenarian version of false accusation makes me doubt the past validity of all celebrity peccadillo indictments(as if I needed provocation). We should be celebrating his post-HIV machismo as we did Tony Randall. Paul "Peewee" Ruebens, Eddie Murphy, Rob Lowe, Hugh Grant and Fraser Crane; we hardly knew ye before they ripped you from our collective Paparazzism. I can just see it--Wayne as Letterman, Colin as Eddie, the one who always plays a girl as Pee-wee, Greg Proost as Elvis and Fred as a cop or homeless person. Hilarious. Afterward, Fred will do his court-ordered pseudo apology and we'll all laugh/cry/peewee ourselves until the next time. Good television, everyone! That's a wrap!
