These two would not last a week.

I get the concept, i get the tone, i get the quirkiness - ala trying to be a Clerks in a post Apocalyptic situation, but come on.... these two buffoons would not last a week. From the get go, lying around on your own listening to Walkman.....

We are even expected to believe that one has lasted more than 5? months without having to have killed a zombie or even another human by the time the movies time period begins?? i get that he has not fully accepted the reality of the situation - fine - but its just tooooo much.

Again, i get what they were going for but it just didnt work.

I've lived in a small rural town before. I could go days without seeing someone. Why is it hard to believe that after these guys escaped their house that they would encounter more than a handful of zombies? Why is it hard to believe one of the two would do all of the killing?

If a zombie outbreak happened in my town, and half of the 400 people became zombies, there would be more bears in the area than zombies. I listen to my iPod outside all of the time, even though I've seen bears on my front porch. I'm alive, and no one calls me a buffoon for listening to my iPod outside.

It's not like these two guys are in some video game world. This is (at least from what I gathered) supposed to be a realistic depiction of a zombie outbreak.
