Better than World War Z

It actually has character development and you are interested in the survival of the two guys. The best part is there could no zombies and it still would be a good movie.

True! I love the zombie genre, and, like films involving time travel, it is the *idea* that is the cool part, something that big budget films often get wrong (Looper... Don't get me started!). But then there is Primer (and 12 Monkeys) to show how it could be done!
I really hope they make more of this world they've created in this film!

the film 'the dead' was alot better than world war z aswell....wwz is just over hyped, watered down, cgi zombie film with no real depth and popular because brad pitt is in it...
typical hollywood film

In all fairness, watching grass grow is better than what they did to World War Z, but I get your point.

I liked it better than WWZ. Not as generic.

i like both THE BATTERY & WWZ. both are different animals. i'll admit WWZ is more my thing and i really liked that movie enough to watch it multiple times. i do like THE BATTERY but it's not a movie i want to watch again and again. again, the 2 movies are in 2 different genres (but just have zombies in them). one is drama and one is action.

World War Z is not a good example because most zombie movies are better than that.
