All indications are that it is slow, boring, and annoying. It was offered to me, I said, "no thanks".

debniak is right plus is very confusing. JJL was good as always, but this was a mess.

I enjoyed it. It unfolds gradually and it's definitely not a fast-paced film, but I thought it was worth seeing.

Movies are IQ tests. The IMDB boards are each person's opportunity to broadcast their score.

Very funny. I had to keep rewatching it and I still don't get it.

It's pretty straightforward, unless you want to believe it's complicated. She is a mental patient who is trying to piece together her past relationship with a man she thinks she may have murdered. It's not an unusual plot--Hitchcock did something similar in Spellbound. The only thing that might have complicated it was the subplot with her daughter, who was a spoiled and obnoxious person and who, I thought, added little to the film. It did unfold slowly and it did take a little while to become interesting. By the end, she realizes that her lover was not murdered at all, but instead killed himself. The movie's conclusion has her wondering if everything she experienced was really a fantasy, as she sees a soldier that seems to resemble him.

I thought it was very interesting and kept my attention. The key is that the viewer has to pay close attention because of the flashbacks of her life that are constantly revealed. In addition, we are looking at the film from one woman's standpoint and because of her fragile mental state, we (the viewers) can't believe everything we see. I thought this is what made the film good. I was surprised to see hardly any posts and a low rating.
This was very well acted and put the viewer in the mind of the person who has been traumatized. The movie demonstrates the impact of that trauma and how she (in her mind) juxtaposes events from her traumatic experiences in the war zone to her experiences in the hospital and at home.

Nope, but looking at JJL for an hour and a half was nice.
