That was a rough first half of the movie, its like... their timing was all wrong.

It seemed they brought out the worst in each other as actors. Thats hard to say, since i really like both of them, and we know they both are great.

It got better as the move went on and the dialog improved, but neither of them was able to pul off the man of few words portion of the movie.

I wanted to say they had no chemistry, but that just cant be...hell they where only half acting.... what do y'all think?

I can't fault it anywhere in this movie.thought their natural chemistry really held the movie together. The scene in the church and when The Reverand wakes up with John Henry beside him was really well written and performed.

Agree. They were the only thing making this movie watchable to the end.
