Beautiful art - ugly Vienna (?)

I´m not sure why the director shows so beautiful art but so ugly Vienna.

Somebody know something about this ?

I thought that Vienna was portrayed as being beautiful in its everyday look. This is in fact how a large city looks. London is ugly. Toronto is ugly. Berlin is ugly. And they are all also beautiful at every turn.

Yes... at the distance we see only the nice part of the cities...
