Not bad, but needed a few changes to be better.... (Spoilers)

Not bad. Sets were cool and I'm a big Slater fan so I'll watch him in anything. But the film could have been much better — or at least entertaining — with these few changes:

• Make it a hard R with female nudity and bloody violence.

• I realize make up effects are pricey but they could have spent a little to make the alien a horrifying man-eating monster (ala the Thing) instead of something that looked like one of the crew. They did in the end, but by then it was too little, too late.

• Add jump scares. There were none in this film.

• Give one of the characters a dark sense of humor to add some laughs.

• Cast a hotter female actor and actually show her naked in the shower scene; otherwise why even bother with that scene and the fogged glass door? We knew she was going to go take a shower, so why show it if we aren't going to see boobs or butt?

• Have a complete story. What the fvck was up with that damn cliffhanger? Did they actually expect to make a Stranded 2? It just looks like they either ran out of budget in the end or didn't' know how to finish the story — or both. I haven't seen a stupid clumsy ending like that since the low-budget crap fest "Time Walker" back in the early 80s where it actually ended with the words "To be continued." And no, there wasn't a sequel.

You are welcome.
