Reminded me of The Last of Us

I quickly grew just as attached to Rose in this movie as I did to Ellie in The Last of Us, anyone else?

Me too! I felt like I was watching a movie about Joe and Ellie.

I don't know that movie ... will have to look it up. But there was one called On The Beach about 50, 60 years ago. Might have been set in Australia. Something of a similar premise.

Lawn Dogs. Not an end of the world movie but it had a weird ending.

Yeah. The game has sure inspired a lot of films in the past few years - this, Maggie, Extinction, Logan.

Cant recall that happening with any other game to such an extent.



like what movies? given that this was released less than two months after the last of us, it probably wasn't inspired by it.

Gamers might hate this statement, but I'd love it if The Last of Us were adapted into a film. A good one, not just an adaptation just to make one.

My friend showed me the beginning of the game. That *beep* was scary. I'm not a gamer, but I am very interested to play it all the way through.

These Final Hours didn't remind me of TLoU, though. Reminded me of a fncked up version of Seeking A Friend.
