Whats so special about leaving a small CT town to go to a small VT town.

Whats so special about leaving a small CT town to go to a small VT town?

They keep talking about it like its a goal in itself: "going to VT." They talk about it like it's going to the promised land.

In reality it's the same place, just with much colder winters and more antiquing opportunities.

What's he going to do in VT he can't do there? Make artisanal maple syrup?

It's special because it's different. They aren't old enough or traveled enough to know that everyplace is essentially the same and every town has it's share of *beep*

Get away?

If you lived in CT, as I do, you would know what a terribly dull state it is. I would rather live in the City, where I used to live, but Vermont would also be great.

lmao I know, right? As someone who's lived in Vermont my whole life I kept laughing at that. I guess it's alright here, but I can't wait to move away, but it'll be much farther than just to CT.
