Terrible ending

It's supposed to be real or artistic maybe but in the end it's no different than how it began. Maybe she's just a tease that never wanted his affection in the first place. Maybe he was just a concerning friend all along and it turned out how it always should. Friends... who the F wants to watch a supposed comedy that turns out to be a drama that goes really nowhere and ends up showing two friends that end up being in the end what they really were all along. It's BORING! I like this move up to the last minutes when u realize NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! Waste of time!

I disagree, I liked this movie. Kind of a *beep* you to all the boring boy meets girl, some problems occur, but after some struggle they end up together; boring s***. I've been annoyed at that for years.
In my opinion this movie was a far more relatable and realistic take on situations like these.
Offcourse, if you crave endings like those I described I would recommend: [ blah blah blah, lots of movietitles that gives little girls unrealistic expectations of what love, relationships and partners are. ]

The ending was perfect. Subtle and sweet.

Kate would probably benefit from some counseling. Help her figure out why she's choosing man who not a good fit or not available. She may also have a drinking problem.
