Which of the many fight scenes were better?

I just want to know which of the 19 fight scenes were best.

I would have to say the last one between Rama and the assassin. They really build up the suspense at the beginning of the fight and I could feel the weight of each blow as it became louder and more scrappy and desperate until it reached a climax. It was so well acted. What do you think is the best action scene?

My favourite five in no particular order are:
The prison yard fight scene
Rama vs The Assassin
Rama and Andi vs Mad Dog
Meth lab fight scene
Rama vs Hammer Girl and Baseball Bat Man

Rama vs The Assassin
Rama vs Hammer Girl and Baseball bat guy.

For the first one: the meth lab fight

For the second one: the prison yard fight and the kitchen fight

I love how the camera follows every movement and you can literally feel every punch and kick, no shaky cam whatsoever

I don't like this kind of chaotic fighting in movies, but I liked aspects of the fight with the bat boy and hammer girl, just because it was satisfying seeing those two characters get killed. "Pick up the baseball", loved it when he he nailed him so hard with his own bat it stuck inside his face.

I've narrowed it down to three:

Rama vs. the assassin
Bat Guy vs. Rama
Hammer Girl vs. 12 bodyguards
(The prison yard fight was just too slapstick)

listed in reverse order:

#3 RAMA V ASSASSIN
This was the most unrealistic fight in the whole movie. Damn thing lasted about eight minutes! OK, in real life, just one well-placed roundhouse kick will knock out anyone. During the course of this fight, each combatant shrugged off about 50 of them. And their heads were constantly being smashed against immovable objects by their opponent. I can't remember how many walls and window their bodies smashed through, and yet they continue their Energizer Bunny routine for what seemed like forever. I don't converse with my TV much, but about six minutes into this fight, I screamed, "Oh, C'mon!!"

#2 BAT GUY V RAMA
OK, I've seen this before. The baseball bat has been used as a blunt instrument successfully in many films including the Baseball Furies weapon of choice in "The Warriors," and the instruments used to pulpify Nicky and his brother in "Casino." But here in "The Raid 2" is was an entertaining change of pace to all the kicking, punching and curvy knife slashing. Actually, the baseball bat makes a great weapon. It's created to be easily gripped, and balanced so it can be swung with full force. Hell, if someone came at with me with a knife, I'd want a bat. What took me out of the earlier Bat Guy fight scene was his ability to kill out a moving target by hitting a baseball at him. As for his fight with Rama, if I had written it, I would have had Rama catch that ball hurtling towards him with his bare hand while giving Bat Guy a you-ain't-so-damn-tough scowl. That would have served as the perfect presage to the fight's ultimate outcome.

#1 HAMMER GIRL V BODYGUARDS
Sure, the deadly little Hello Kitty Ninja is nothing new (little Miho in "Sin City," Go Go in "Kill Bill part 2," etc.), but those hammers were sure a nice change of pace. And they weren't exotic weapons forged on some remote Japanese mountain top by monks. They were something you could pick up at any Tru Value.
Assuming Hammer Girl was an expert fighter, the screen time given to the fight scene on the train was just about right (unlike that marathon at number 3):

You smash someone on the head with a hammer - he's dead
You smash someone in the eye with a hammer - he's dead
You rip out someone's jugular vein with the hammer's claw - he's dead
You rip out his guts with the hammer's claw - he's dead
You hit him in the balls with a hammer - he wishes he was dead.

So, what makes the Hammer Girl fight my favorite is it's mix of originality, realism and an antagonist that's not hard to look at.

You may respectfully disagree.

I agree with that 100%. It was fun to watch for about 3 minutes, but after that no reasonably intelligent person can suspend their disbelief any longer. No human being on Earth would be able to endure that much punishment.

MMA is nowhere near the same thing as that last fight scene.

It seems the hulk has a point to make and he'll say anything to make it. But, there's no way in hell that fight could have actually existed in real life.

For me: Rama vs Hammer Girl and Baseball bat guy is the best

I almost fall asleep during the Raid 2 due to the lousy subtitles and overall messy story line. This fight scene make me sober and excited again.

This movie contained so many epic fight scenes. The fight at the beginning in the restroom, the prison yard fight, the porn den fight, the bar fight (stabbed to death with a broken beer bottle), the restaurant fight scene, the car chase, the baseball bat attack, the hammer attack, and most important...the final EPIC kitchen fight scene.
