Why was Videl pregnant with Pan? Why not just have Bulma pregnant with Bulla (Bra)? It would of connected better with the timeline seeing how Trunks and Goten are still kids in this movie. Also, it would of fixed a major plot hole... where was Bulla?
I'm not one to post on message boards about this kind of stuff, but I'm just wondering what others might think. Seems like a bit of an oversight on Toriyama's part.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Bulla's a few years older than Pan, so why wasn't she around and able to participate as the 5th Saiyan? It totally confuses me.
I was also thinking the exact same thing about Goten and Trunks. They should've been older here, in their late pre-teens or early teens.
Because Pan was born in year 778 and Bra in year 780.

True, Pan does serve a bigger purpose than Bulla.
Apparently Bulla's given two different birthdates, 778 AD and 780 AD while Pan's is listed as 779 AD. Here's where I got the info, which concludes by stating that Bulla is a year older than Pan:

I know the DBGT Perfect Files, but again, GT was created by Toei Animation and not by original author Akira Toriyama.
Remember both girls are shown at the end of de Dragon Ball manga.
