I just finished watching the whole series again on blu-ray and I'm pretty sure Dende made a dragon thag can grant two wishes instead of one. And what's the deal with Goku breathing in space?
Am I seriously the only one who has noticed these errors?
If the dragon was summoned between 4-6 months to a year before and only one wish was made, then he can be summoned again in this 6-8 month time period for a single wish before a full year has passed. This technicality is brought up in the Buu arc when Goku told Shenron a second wish wasn't needed after Bulma and Yamcha wished back all the good people who died that morning, being a key goal of Gohan and Piccolo's to use that second wish while Super Buu was briefly missing and before he destroyed the Earth. It's possible that Battle of the Gods is under a year after the events of the Yo! special when a wish was made, but still after 4-6 months.
Shenron can only grant two wishes if a full year has passed since he was last summoned.
