NOT CANCELLED

Vegas is not cancelled ,they are still shooting new episodes

reply

Well if that's the case and CBS didn't even say they were axing it them a bunch of people here got upset for nothing.

reply

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/ says that it will be cancelled. I hope that they are wrong, it does not usually bother me when they cancel a show too soon, but I do look forward to Vegas each week more that I usually do. The networks suck anymore, they cancel shows before they have even had a chance to gather fans. By the way, they also say the Golden Boy is done, after two episodes,SMH!

reply

Does the CBS website say it will be over by the end of the year? If not than let's not worry about it till they say.

reply

I'm not worrying about it yet. When CBS doesn't like a show or they are about to cancel it they only air 4 episodes and then pull it!!!
That's what they did to NYC22...it was a great show and they never gave it a chance. They pulled it after 4 episodes and then aired the rest of the season 6 months later!

Wonder if William Paley operated like that in his days?

reply

They are moving it to Friday nights which is fine with me. There are too many good shows shown all on one night.

reply

Likely scenario for the 2013/2014 season (this fall, in other words);

Tuesdays 8:00-10:00 PM:
NCIS
NCIS:LA
NCIS:Red

Fridays 8:00-10:00 PM:
Golden Boy
Vegas
Blue Bloods

That would give them 2 nights of pretty powerful procedural shows. Unless ofcourse Golden Boy doesn't last past the first season, in that case they'd keep the crappy reality-show 'Undercover Boss'.

Here's to hoping Vegas gets renewed for a 2nd season (and beyond).

reply

Oh Gawd! I hope they don't ruin Tuesday night by adding that POS spin-off!

From what I've seen of Golden Boy I don't think it will last past the 1st season.

Fingers crossed for 5+ seasons for Vegas!
