Stop the cancellation!

Please send a letter,email-whatever to CBS and beg them to please reconsider canceling this show. I have been watching the previews for the new shows starting this fall and so far they all look like garbage but a good show like Vegas they cancel. Of course no one ever accused CBS of making wise decisions-they canceled all sorts of good shows back in the 60's-all top 20 shows-and why? Because the other networks called them the Country Broadcast Network. So it was good bye Beverly Hillbillies,Green Acres,Mayberry RFD,Petticoat Junction etc......

here is a link to the form to fill out:

Don't just give up- other shows have been saved in the past by fans begging another chance.

U think this could really work?? I don't understand why it's done so bad..

reply

Thanks for the link, I filled one out. If enough people do so we just might make a difference. I commented that it was a good show for Friday night leading into Blue Bloods and asked that they give it more time to gather a following.

I hope they reconsider.
I don't understand CBS, they canceled Leave It To Beaver after one season, then it was picked up by ABC. Then they cancel Dick Van Dyke and WKRP before wisely bringing them back.
And in the mid 90's ABC cancelled Family Matters and Step By Step and CBS picked them both up after they were already past their prime.

Did it ever occur to you those shows you mentioned ratings were low?

reply

I'm not sure who you were talking to mactach-but if it was my original post no,the shows that they cancelled were all in the top 20.

It was a bone head move by CBS

reply

Duh, I never thought about that...

At our house, we sent emails to CBS months ago when whispers were going around that most likely it was going to be cancelled. We just asked them to reconsider. I hope the would think twice, but I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this.

As much as we want, they're not going to bring this show back. It never caught on. If you looked at the ratings, Vegas lost viewers from Undercover Boss that then came back for Blue Bloods. People did the un-lazy (as un-lazy as a wireless remote could be) thing and either switched channels or gave the poodle a perm for that hour. They don't bring back shows like that.
