Ending is so dumb (spoilers)

How in the world are the two guys who survived gonna make it to land, I am assuming Turkey , with that escape suit full of gold and than get that gold to a place where they would be able to sell it? No way in the world those two get that gold to land and sell it and than get that money back to England and Russia or wherever. If they are lucky enough to survive the swim to land and can drag that gold behind them they are gonna be met by the authorities and have that gold taken away and probably thrown in jail. It makes a for a neat ending though if you don't think about it at all though.
