Sometimes letting go of someone so beautiful as Hugo is an impossibly hard choice. But Andres eventually did the right thing and moved on. I'm afraid in life people often fail to make the correct decision.

There are so many Andres out there, including me, that try so hard but at the end of the day, we realize our self worth n just move on!
shareYes, but they had 10 years together. Hugo strayed with only one man.. he was infatuated with. I think Andreas could have given him more than 2 weeks. Couples split more than not .. and they obviously met when they were super young. 10 years. I don't know where I stand on this issue. Andreas probably should have forgiven him.
shareHe did forgive him n he still went to the club or whatever and got bottle smashed in the head..I wouldn't take him back, n Andrés needed to start loving himself, which he did by letting him go. But this is my opinion about it
shareI think their story was my favorite. That fear of rejection doesn't go away even as we age. Andres compromised himself for Hugo out of love once but not twice. I think he made the right choice too but if Hugo had kept his word I could see them continuing on happy together. Sometimes true love can survive these things. I was anxious to see which way it went.

shareJust re-watched this(wonderful)film. Hugo never literally says he doesn't love Andres anymore. Hugo was smitten by the younger and hotter Sebastian and he could not overcome this attraction. In fact, when Andres tries to win Hugo back, at one point Hugo says I love you kiddo or something to that effect. I think in the end Hugo realizes what he has lost in Andres but it is an open question as to whether he would have cheated again or not.
