A question about Episode 2

During the closing credits when brief scenes are shown above the actual credits, there is one where Salvo is in a library (?) reading an old newspaper. Did that scene actually appear during the episode or was it perhaps a deleted scene? If it was shown, how could I have missed it? If you know exactly where it is in the story, could you please let me know where in the timeline it is? Thanks.

They appear to be outtakes but I'm not sure (I had asked on an Italian forum and didn't get any further forward). I think in another episode there was a clip of Young Montalbano laughing that looked like a blooper, but in the original Inspector Montalbano series the end credits had scenes from the show throughout. What I really want to know is the title of that song that plays over the end credits - it's fantastic!

The song is "Voce mia cantando vai" sung by Olivia Sellerio.

Music Andrea Guerra, words Davide Camarrone.

Gira, gira, vota e và,
respira a fondo e po',
la vucca to'.
Voce mia cantando vai,
e tu non piangi mai,
e guardandomi negli occhi
vergognosi vuoi,
ca stu tempu
nun passassi mai.
Baci da luntanu
che i baci tuoi per me,
nun vitti mai.
È a tia amuri ca' vulia
milli noti rialari.
N'celu 'n ancilu
chi sapi 'nduvinari
zocc'aspettu
e ancora tu
non mi vò rari..
N'celu 'n ancilu
chi sapi 'nduvinari
zocc'aspettu
e nun veni mai.
Zocc'aspettu
e amuri mi darai..
