So, Regina Question, S04 (SPOILER)

Okay, so I don't like evil queen Regina any more than anyone else, but I have a question about how she's treated.

George reiterates mid Season 4 that he has no feelings for her, and that their marriage is only to help him get elected. Then he tells her she must move out to the guest cottage and is NOT to consider herself the mistress of the estate or the (main) house.

I guess in her position I would ask, "So, what's in it for me?" She has no opportunity now to even be in the same room as the man she loves, and any prestige or satisfaction that may have come from running a grand household is stripped away. Does he just expect her to be happy to have a big clothing allowance and her picture occasionally in the papers?

Regina is vile (though I love her as a character)...but isn't George sort of shorting her?

Good points.
George has probably started to realize how dumb he was to marry Regina at this point.
And I can see why he would want as little as possible to do with her.
But still, he should be smart enough to get that Regina would want something out of the marriage too.
