I seem to recall when everyone worried about 'emaciated models'. Seems like the trend in female beauty for the past decade has been towards 'zaftig'... if not downright -plump-.
Stone was cast because she's hot. Noticing that isn't sophomoric. And models are still emaciated.

shareI'd say your observation was more obvious than sophomoric. While not all of Ms. Stone's roles have relied on her sexual attractiveness, certainly that is the factor that brought her success, and has been emphasized in most of her best known performances.

At 55, Sharon Stone looks so excitingly sexy and even on par with the younger (49) Sofia Vergara. They're both not only amazing in their looks but also in their roles. Can't say that about Vanessa Paradis though; she looks old for her age (49, same age as Sofia Vergara) and also "emaciated".
