The mother and her hypocrisy

Not sure if it is edited, scripted or not, but I'll go based on the show.

I think the last week, or most recent episode, proved to me how...weird the mother is.

So she's out in the apartment smoking and Bobby tells her it's against the rules to do so, but she responds "We're Gypsies, we break rules."

But isn't this the same individual who blew steam from her ears after finding out that her granddaughters/Bobby's youngest two daughters, wanted to take acting classes? Not to mention she was trying to enforce them to not do it, constantly.

I noticed that too.

But wasn't she smoking in the apartment they were about to be evicted from?

If the landlords were gadji, she probably thought "screw your rules, I'm a Gypsy and I want no part of your society."

Still hypocritical, but I bet that's how she justified her actions. She only follows Gypsy rules and traditions.

In which case, it's good that Bobby called the Gypsy realtor who found them an apartment. I bet she'll stop smoking in the new apartment if her Gypsy landlord tells her not to.

She is a major idiot! Obviously!

Wow, some real, genuine free-thinkers on this board.

Its F#%king obvious. She cares about gypsy law, not US law.

Secondly, it was a joke in hyperbole. And she was moving out that very day.

Lasty, just as something to think about. 30-40 years people could some anywhere and everywhere. She lived in that time, plus she's a gypsy. And everyone knows gypsies don't give a damn.
