I think the end is open; he is walking into the sea; I could be wrong - I expected him to go to the roof.
The irony of it was he had planted the gun which would have been found by the raid if he hadn't have retrieved it to kill the final murderer.

It was gripping but I'd like to have seen some resolve over his dad seeing his grandaughter. But maybe they are going to carry that on into series two, so fingers crossed they do make another.

I thought the ending was OK, certainly not brilliant. But then again I am not a fan of open endings.
They only make sense if there will be a second series. Oh yes please.

I don't think Sav killed himself in the end because he would never leave his father alone. He is shaken by what he has done, but not broken. I can definitively see him turn into a kind of Charles Bronson. Even though he killed his friend.

Hope there will be more.

It's definitively an open ending. First thing I too thought of was Tom Quinn. Sav might be back.

No, he was not found out though it looked as if the DCI was suspicious of him. Second series is possible.
