A lot of things they trade for a prenigotiated by producers. They have a sort of casting call where you can see what they have to trade and you can submit what you have.
I give them credit they are honest an items condition, but there's not much skill in bartering when you have a team of producers cuttin deals for you.
They could at least make the scripts more believable. I'm willing to overlook the fact a reality show is fake if it's at least well written.
I love the back and forth between the "Barter Kings" and the short end the stick guy.
Like the go kart guy: I don fit
Barter King: stares at h guy
Go kart guy: I'll make it work
Roof tiles guy: these tiles are broken, dirty, and loaded incorrectly
Barter King: where are you oing to get roof tiles for a pool you don use
Me: the dump, those roof tiles have mold on arrival.
Roof tile guy: okay I guess here busted tiles are better than my perfectly good pool
Yeh that's how people negotiate.
They are not casting for traders, theyre just looking for actors for fake trades.
