EDIT: On a press release regarding Disney's TV animation news, WOY will continue to air on Disney XD but will be on Disney Channel on Fridays!

More info regarding the second season: Craig McCracken said that it's actually been renewed back in Feburary, but Disney don't want the news to be known until the company made its formal announcement. Season 2 will consist of four 22-minute episodes that will form one story arc; and 36 11-minute individual episodes, many of which relates to that particular arc for a total of 22 half-hours.
