Spiderman 3 sucked...same goes with both Amazing Spiderman movies.
I just hope they do it right this time. Sadly it doesn't look good at all.
This film is going to suck because its part of the MCU and the MCU is trash.

It's not like this is the first time they did this, the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon show altered ethnicity of characters as well.

The cast shouldn't be all white (the comics added some non-white characters even within the '60s and more later) and altering the ethnicity of a few characters is OK (times indeed have changed) but the film seems to be at another extreme with there seeming to be only only one or two white student characters aside from Peter.
That's in addition to film Aunt May being much younger
Peter attending a science school and not working for the Bugle
his secret identity being discovered by others early on.
Let's be honest here...Peter was never that good at hiding his ID. It's just that everyone around him always acted like total morons and never put 2+2 together.

shareWell, I liked Spider-Man 3 and the Amazing Spider-Man 2 (neither was great, but good imo). The Amazing Spider-Man 1 wasn't that good to me because it tried to have a dark tone but turned out boring and dull. Dark works with Batman all day but not Spider-Man. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was a much better Spider-Man film and I don't care who disagrees.
As for this film? It looks to be a good Spider-Man film, but trailers can be deceiving. Iron Man 3 trailer for example, much much better than the movie. Iron Man 3 was okay, but a HUGE disappointment, lame villain reveal, lame child sidekick, Super Pepper at the end was lame, Christmas theme was unnecessary. War Machine barely in the movie. So much wrong.
