Love the female elf's Asian curved saber

In the Tolkien mythos and Dungeons and Dragons, elven warriors prefer curved saber swords and curved, long knives. The tradition is carried on in this movie. The embittered female elf bounty hunter, Nemyt carries an unsheathed curved saber sword throughout the movie. Her sword strongly resembles the slightly curved saber carried by the Asiatic nomadic tribes of northeastern Asia from a thousand years ago and more. The Asian saber was like a slight, 'S' curve. The handle was the bottom part of the, 'S'. Such sabers were ergonomically designed and balanced and along with the Asian composite compound bow, wreaked massive havoc from China to the gates of Vienna, Austria.

The elf, Nemyt, is played by petite, 5'3" actress, Danielle Chuchran. She's one of those actresses that plays supporting roles and minor ones on non-blockbuster, indie, and direct-to-video movies. When I read her imdb resume, I saw that she starred in several movies that I'd already seen but did not recognize her from all of them. She's tiny but then, elves are slender, smaller people, so her 5'3" height is actually quite appropriate for her role.

P.S. Another poster described the monster in the forest as a, zombie minotaur. That was my same thought. Ha, ha, ha, ha!

To me it looked like a direct copy of Arwen's sword from the Lord of the Rings films

Yes, it is a copy of Arwen's sword Hadhafang. In the original short film (early 2012) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3UA-rBiJt8) there are also the runes on the blade, which were removed in the final Version of the movie.

I like Asian curves too ^_^

Danielle Chuchran reminded me of Charlize Theron.

"Gar nicht so übel, du kleine Schlampe. Man sieht sich immer zweimal, Kleine."
