Is it me or did Zehra compound one bad decision with another at the end? First there was the foolish (albeit a little understandable given her youthfulness) hookup with the brooding, mysterious truck driver who may have been more than twice her age. Then the pregnancy as a result of that "relationship" followed by the...well...tragic event at the clinic.

So in then end she decided to get married to Olgun who isn't exactly the most stable person in her neck of the woods. Not to mention the kid at his young age already seemed to have a sense of entitlement in regards to women in general. That is probably a cultural thing but nonetheless Zehra seemed to indicate earlier that she didn't want a life like that, one in which her options were limited and she could be told what she could or could not do.

So am I to take the ending as a sweet one? Two teenagers who come to the realization that they truly love each other or at the very least need one another? Or is it more bittersweet? Zehra realizing she has to settle for the best posssible option available amongst a slew of even worst possibilities? Or is it darker? Is Zehra so traumatized by the events leading to her fall that in desperation for a fresh start she becomes the bride of a jailed young man? A jailed young man who may be more ready for the illusion of TV and the entertainment industry than he is for the real world? In other words is Zehra stuck in a pattern of jumping from one bad situation to the next bad decision?
