Most annoying character?

I can't decide between Nigel and Olly.

Olly is a prat but Nigel is definitely the most annoying character for me, everything about him gets on my nerves, I don't care that he's essentially a 'good' guy.

Olly's a flaming idiot, but they use his idiocy and naive to every advantage. I mean, that scene with Abby where he's chasing her down the street to "get him some" literally made me LoL.

I've been annoyed with Beth and Mark for some time now. Beth because they've had her do little more than pine & whine since halfway thru series 1; and Mark because he's a completely self-absorbed prat.

And then there's Tess... but she annoys me in an "I don't trust you" way.

I do agree that Olly is an idiot. Same with Beth and Mark. Like Mark had been *beep* with Becca and when Beth asks what did you see in her, he says "she's different"...Not a straight answer, he's also accused of "kangaroo-nooki". Beth 'cause she's always whining and tends to be quite unfair and ungrateful. It also annoys me that she didn't tell ANYONE about her third pregnancy for not reason. Also the defense barrister and her assistant.

"Different," as Mark used it, translated to my American ears as "strange," as in "I needed some strange," the term used by horny young guys on my side of the pond. That's no less lame an excuse, but most Americans, the horny guys at least, would understand it immediately.

And yes, I agree with some here that Mark was the most annoying out of of the handful of annoying characters, though that didn't take away any of the greatness of this show.

Beth is not just the most annoying character on this show but one of the all time worst on television. She's always whining and tends to be quite unfair.

The defnse barrister and her assistant.

the defense barrister and her assistant.

Claire, because she's changed her story 1500 times and given me a headache.

Between Ollie and Nige? Then Ollie. I suspect Nige is actually up to no good. That poaching business sounds dodgy. But Ollie has been a jerk, concentrating more on getting social media following than on the impact the whole thing has on his aunt and cousins. He has no loyalty.

For me, the defense lawyer was downright nasty as hell to people who are suffering a horrible tragedy and that makes her and her associate parasites and horrible people.

DS Miller, definitely.
