I feared that the Series 3 might be centred around her son in prison. She was absolutely terrible in Series 2 ,overacting with her mugging and smirking all time . I admit that she had a very difficult role given that all the stuff about the trial was poorly written, but she didn't help to bring it any credibility.

I agree that her lines were poorly written. Also I guess it is okay in England for the defense lawyer to not only question witnesses but also to berate and yell at the witnesses. And to provide evidence made up by her and then question the witnesses about it. She also seemed to constantly provide testimony of her own in between her questioning!!
I really loathed her if not as much, maybe even more than Joe Miller. I think I hated her as much as Susan Wright.
shareI see I'm not the only one who couldn't stand MJB. I based my decision to continue on to Season 3 on whether she would be in it. Happily, she was in only the Season 2 eight episodes.
She so totally repulsed me ... I hate her voice, her looks, her attitude, her personality. I actually quit watching Blindspot because I just couldn't stomach seeing her in that anymore.
It could be that she is the sweetest thing in real life and nothing like her on-screen characters, but her on-screen persona is all I have to base it on, and she thoroughly ruins for me anything she is in.
She was way too over the top.
