Imdb being fair or not?
I saw this movie at Worldfest in Houston and I have been watching the Review War taking place.
From What I can see any of the honest and negative reviews are being removed and replace by FAKE reviews from the filmmakers. So I figured it was time to chime in.
First Off Look at the review from Roger Scott Budge, If you check the credits on the imdb page he is a cinematographer on the project. Hmmm, could he be biased?
Second Check the review by James Sterling I would bet you money that is actually the director. How would a non partial movie goer have had access to the screenplay and know about how it was written? He says "The screenplay was written based on a much more mind bending mental action thriller and this is fine with me" Come on dude?
Plus all of the other reviews are written by accounts that were created like one or two days ago?
Fact of the matter is I DID SEE THIS MOVIE and the honest reviews are TRUE!
The movie is scored with Hans Zimmers Greatest Hits, in fact go check out the director you tube page. His AXI series id FULL of movie soundtracks, from Hans Zimmer to Johnny Williams.
You can not steal other peoples work and not get called on it Mr. Welling.
Also he did use the scene from the climax of SIGNS as well as the MUSIC!
The scene with Lee Majors is a Rip Off of the Town Hall scene in Jaws, There are scenes recreated from the Shinning, and THe movie even opens up with a Rip Off of Mystic Rivers scene where Shawn Penn finds his daughter dead.
IMDB I sincerely hope you leave some of these honest reviews up. For years you have been the standard that people look to for reviews to decide where they are going to invest their time and money when enjoying a film.
Now more than ever when any jerk off with a 5-D Camera can go out and make a pile of poo and call it a movie we need you to let people voice their honest opinions.
If the filmmakers do not like what they are reading from the audiences they will either do one of two things.
1.) quit making movies, (let's hope that is the case here) or
2.) they will learn their craft and take seriously the privilege of producing cinema.
So lets see how long my review last before Mr. Welling takes it down. Even with the ones that come down new ones will come up and the truth will get out there. and one day soon, people like Christopher Nolen, Hans Zimmer, and M.Night Shyamalan may have something to say about the public exhibition of their work used with out their permission.
Thank you imdb for this opportunity to give my honest thoughts on this film.
and anyone else who saw this movie please chime in!
Doesn't matter if it is good or bad only that it is honest.
