Abbeys final decision SPOILER ALERT

I am so surprised noone has written a thing about Sunday nights episode. We all suspected how it all went down, but now it was spelled out for us, in vivid view.
Personally the best acted show of the season.
At first I was bothered by the fact that noone waited to see if Ray would be successful in New York. Maybe he would fix things, and get her into the trial. I realized then, it wouldnt have made a difference in her decision. She didnt want the surgery. She was relieved when she wasnt picked. She placated Ray and yessed him, as he left for NY. She knew what she had to do, no matter the outcome in NY.
Very intense episode. They should have ended the season with this show. Unfortunately they continue next week, with that lame story with the girl actress staying in his house. Worst story line ever. They should have quit when they were ahead, and ended it with this ending. Just my two or three cents on the matter.. Anyone else have some thoughts?

She definitely didn't want the surgery and he should have respected her wishes. THAT'S what you do when you really love someone in that situation unless you think they aren't all there mentally. Abby was still in her right mind though. Then Ray makes a kid sick to try and save her when she wouldn't have did the surgery anyways. Now the kid is going to probably die because of Ray. He is a monster.

I want to go the same way in that situation. No hospitals, no suffering, and no one taking care of me. If I can't wipe my own ass I've already waited far too long. I'm far more scared of suffering and losing my dignity than I am of dying. I already have horrible chronic back pain so I know how much pain sucks. Who wants to be tortured daily?

Great show and yes it was very intense. I think the show will still be good with this other storyline. It does seem lame now but the show has great writers IMO and they will make it interesting.

Thanks for the response.. Hope your back pain eases up.. Im sure that sucks but look into some natural methods to alleviate the pain.
Lets check back in next episode.

Thanks Flower on the well wishes. I'll Google some natural methods. I'm willing to try anything.

(SPOILER) They took care of the young actress living with Ray storyline, lol. I figured Landry would kill her after the movie was finished. I didn't think she'd be killed off already. It looks like a murder/suicide from what they showed but I got a feeling there might be more to it.

From next week's preview and from reading the next 2 episode's storylines, it looks like a real interesting finish to the season.

Just saw your response. I have to admit, I felt nothing when they killed her off. Thats because her character never connected to the audience( me).
The thing I dont like was that Terry and Bridget did the deed with Abbey when everyone knew he was going to the hospital to "take care" of the situation, so that Abbey would be back in line for the surgery. They really should have stopped him somehow, because he essentially killed an innocent young man for no reason.

Hope your back is better,,off the top of my head try epsom salt baths, and then afterwards, try Arnica gel cream. It will, at the very least, ease some pain.

Hi Flower. I haven't been in here for awhile so just read your reply. I'm doing so good I have to brag, lol. I have cut my meds down to 20% of what I was taking at 1 time. I started exercising, eating better, and quit smoking. I'm actually doing better on the lower dose of pain meds. Got some of my personality back not being so medicated.

The only bad thing is I have terrible nerve pain in my feet that I wasn't feeling on the higher dose of pain meds. I get excited being able to take less pills and now I have to take 3 nerve pills a day. Going to a neurologist soon so maybe he can figure out something. I don't have diabetes so it has to be from my back.

Ray came through and saved the boy and took care of that idiot Landry. His daughter would have never forgave him if her boyfriend died. I surely miss my weekly dose of Ray Donovan. The girl actor that got killed off was also in a show called Banshee on Cinemax. If you haven't seen it check Banshee out if you can. I loved that show also.
