Ping-Pong With Dustin Hoffman's son

Another homage to Midnight Cowboy that seems to have been missed by most viewers.

I've seen Midnight Cowboy, and I have seen most of the films that Voight and Hoffman have made. That said, I wouldn't recognize Dustin Hoffman's son if he were standing next to me. Same goes for Voight's son.....wouldn't know him from Adam.

Agree with you. Seen the movie, but didn't know that was Hoffman's son until I went to his IMDb page.

I saw Midnight Cowboy in a theater the year it was released. (It wasn't "first run" because movies were released differently back then. Midnight Cowboy would have initially played in one or two theaters in Manhattan; the large downtown Jersey City theater where I saw it would have been second run and there were third and fourth run theaters as well.) I was very nervous buying my ticket since, at a few months either side of 16, I was a couple of years too young to be admitted to the then X rated movie. It breaks my heart to see Joe Buck grown up as a right wing nutjob campaigning for our putative Fuehrer. If Mickey wasn't such a despicable character that I hate anyway, I'm not sure I could watch him.

Voight is now stumping for Trump..... And you do know who his daughter is....Yes Angelia Jolie...

reply

Yeah....I know who his daughter is because she is ultra famous. As far as who he stumps for, I couldn't care less.
