Freedoom as a universal value

This was my thought process during watching the film... When the film started, I thought: "Oh, its a film about freedom for Falun Gong in China". Around the middle of the film, I thought: "Its about freedom in China in general." But by the end of the film, however, I realised it's about freedom in general. The message couldn't be more universal.

I wish the film was made in more artistic and less infomercial style, though. Art shouldn't directly draw conclusions, but ask questions, letting the viewer (or reader) find the answer. However, in his great wish to condemn Chinese regime's violation of human rights, the director Pearlman is sometimes too hasty and argumentative. But when the message is right, never mind the technique. I give it 9 out of 10.

Everyone should watch this film.

Hi Skile, like the review and the argument, however, there seems to be a Freudian slip in your title. You may want to correct it as "free-doom" is probably just what the CCP wants.
