Poor IMDB reviews are Flawed !

I see time and time again shows like this crucified.

Like i pointed out in the Fact or Faked forum..
How is it that the people involved with this show are being
punished for pointing out what OTHER people around there world are claiming ?

for example the last one i watched was "Alien Castaways"
They heard crazy claims and tried to go and investigate them
and found nothing. So because they investigated someone claims
how are they being held responsible for these claims ?

The so called experts all over the net have plenty of bad things to say
but i have not seen 1 shred of constructive criticism.
Can you do better ? The drop the aggressive insulting and
condescending attitude and step up !
What would the critics like to see done differently ?

And before people jump all over me and start reading between the lines
with what i have said bear in mind i am not saying this show is perfect.
ANd for example on the Fact or Faked forums i trashed on that show HARD !
But on the side of fairness they too should not be held responsible
for internet retards posting dumb Youtube videos and all there idiots that
make up wild claims based on bad quality Youtube video.

I think a lot of IMDB reviewers and critics do a poor job around here.
Think about what i just said and then go and read the User Reviews..

The shos is crap on a stick. The "amazing new footage" or cases they show are neither amazing nor new. They prowl deserted landscapes and actually devote the majority of the hour towards this retarded nocturnal strolls and devote only a couple of minutes to the more interesting interviews.

New footage to who ? Are we assuming what everyone on earth has seen ?

Cases are not amazing ? Like what the guy they had on the show that
had a movie based on him and his experience, a little movie called
Fire In The Sky

Prowl dessert ?
Why not ? If your investigating Roswell alien crashes
would you rather them prowl around New York City

And i agree with your comment about not enough time talking to people
but we can get that anywhere easily and besides maybe we need a
reminder of what the premise of the show is ;)

If you don't like watching them Chase UFOs maybe don't watch Chasing UFO's LOL

As far as I'm concerned your comments most others around here just reinforce my point.

What a lame show. This production is proof that, other then the expensive equipment these supposed "experts" are hauling around (probably borrowed from Finding Bigfoot), you don't have to spend a lot of money to pull the wool over someone's eyes.

The show is one of the worse shows about invstigating UFOs/Aliens. The format has been done before, the cases have been explored & the routine has been overdone.

The investigate the lamest cases, some have no legitimacy like the Alien in the window episode, seriously your spending your time on this case. What does that say about the show, if you cant even identify a hoax and a liar.

But I agree with the poster that mentioned these night journeys they do. Seems like they just need a reason to use night vision effects for the ''cool'' factor. In reality its just as meaningless as the investingations.

Anyone noticed how scripted this show is, obviously trying to go for the spooky ghost hunter them & its a mess.

If your gonna do a show about UFOs dont do this format. Actually dig deep & not just do enough to make a 40min segment. You can tell they do as little as possible by all the fillers they include.

The best docs about UFOs have been done already.

It's so annoying people complain, complain and complain and yet they don't actually give any good ideas themselves. You say "dig deep & not just do enough to make a 40min segment" Seriously? Is that the best you can do?

This show is actually good because it actually gives us something new, a UFO investigation. Yes, we KNOW that there are billions of ghost investigations out there but not for UFOs.

And documentary type shows can only go so far because they regurgitate the same information over and over and never mind how boring it is. At least this show actually gave us NEW evidence and video footage and we know it is legit.

Anyway, I do agree this show has problems. The investigations doesn't go long enough. Instead 1 or 2 days, how about a week so at least they can get more evidence.
