overstylized

Camera moving all the time, cutting to different angles during interviews. Really distracting.

And what the hell were those stupid phone call interviews? Hey, director dude, you don't have to have your face on the screen the whole time. I mean you got the camera crew there to shoot these guys on the phone, so why couldn't you just have them do a normal interview? Sit there and talk to the camera, you know? We don't need to see you nodding there and sipping juice.

It's a documentary, not a *beep* spy thriller.

Or it should be...

Instead it's the international advetures of nodding-his-head guy.

I mean this kind of stuff is an instant turn off for me. It's like a Morgan Spurlock movie where it's all about him and his adventures. Or Michael Moore. But while those dudes attempt to lower their documentaries into being "funny smart movies with wit and sarcasm for smart people", this dude went the spy thriller route. Yeah, uncovering the mystery, create some tension with that moving camera... and the whole ticking clock elemet of "OMG we have to solve this mystery before they elect Omaba for president again."
