Saw it- Awful

This movie sucked, was SUPER racist, it had no idea what it wanted to be! Awful

reply

You're nuts. What the heck was racist about it? It was also based on a true story. Most (not all--the blond kid and his a-hole dad weren't based on real people) of the characters were based on real people. Some of the dialogue was taken directly from clips of things that were said by the real people. It knew exactly what it wanted to be, and it was just that.

Racist? Wow, keep grabbing for straws.

reply

I agree that the movie sucked but it was not racist in any way.

reply

I just saw it and no, it was not racist in any way. It didn't suck nor was it "awful" either. It was a bit corny, with the life lessons and the religion but it was true to the real characters that it was based on.

lol at this being racist, this was the best football movie i have seen in quite a while.

It only seemed mediocre because it wasn't Hollywood's equivalent of "photoshopped" for you. Instead of putting golden linings around the story and the characters, they kept them pretty much real. That's unusual for Hollywood. Real people are mediocre. Stars are spectacular. Real stories are mediocre. Until Hollywood rewrites them. Some people prefer seeing real.

Post a sports movie and the genders come out of the closet.

reply

The genders? What does that mean?

reply

Damn genders need to stay in the closet where they belong.

I think OP means "racist" because the biggest a-hole on the team was a bIack guy, not to mention the shooter.

If so, then he must be quite stupid.
