Rent-a-Cat

I've just finished watching this film and it is totally and utterly charming. Sad and funny and quirky (but in a good way), it had me laughing and filling up with tears all the way through. It probably helps to be a cat-lover, which I am, but it made me jealous of Sayoko's life looking after her charges and meeting the lonely people whose lives she and her cats help make better. And the cats were unbearably cute. For a while, my own cat Boris sat on my knee and we watched the film together - sad but true!
