Song '...take a ride, take a ride...'?

In the first part of the movie, there is a song playing when Tonya is sitting at her desk at school before her husband comes in to talk to her. Some of the lyrics are "I'd be the first to take a ride, take a ride one step at a time". Does anybody know what song this is?
