Female Lead Actress and The Tunnel

The female lead in this movie was also the lead in the movie about that strange looking thing with big glowing eyes that lived under the tunnels of London's underground subway system. Except it was not London, it was in Australia (I forgot which city). It was a great movie and you can watch it for free on YouTube.
