I liked it.

How can anyone not like a show with the little monkey in it?

I watched the first episode of this show and I liked it pretty much right away, because it's obviously *beep* insane, and I love *beep* insane,smart and funny shows (such as the dear departed Scrubs you mentioned). There's a cat and dog hospital on Detroit's West Side----I mention that because I think it would be nice if this show were set there---it would involves the staff dealing with dogs that got shot or run over by cars, and the occasional chicken with an arrow through its neck (that actually happened once here in the D a couple of years back. Someone was kind enough to chase down the chicken/duck/goose or whatever the hell it was,and get it to the vet/saving its life,which was cool.)

But,anyway,how the hell can I not like a show where the main doctor keeps this deadpan expression on his face and dosen't appear to be fazed by any of the crazy s*** that goes on in the office, and a monkey who attempts to paint a naked staff member but winds up doing something weird and abstract in the process? Yep,I'm gonna be watching this show from now on,straight-up!

People don't like it because it interrupted some of the ending ceremonies for the
olympics. Mainly what it got in the way of is The Who's performance.

As a show I think it's pretty good. Good balance in character and the animals
just add to setting but aren't overwhelming.

I think the show is great, but I suppose not every can have a sense of humor and good taste. For example some people seem to think Mitt Romney would make a good President. Scary, right?
