Teeth

I thought this was a reasonably well made series, not a masterpiece but worth watching. And I say that as a nonbeliever, so I did not start watching with any specific expectation or desire to like it.

One thing that bothered me though was that almost everyone in the cast had unnaturally white, straight and complete teeth. As if everyone was wearing cheap dentures thousands of years ago. Once you start noticing it, it becomes really distracting. Everytime a character opens their mouth to say something, there they are: white shining teeth. Even the characters that were supposed to be old and/or poor and/or sick and/or dirty.

Totally anachronistic. They might as well have given them wrist watches and cell phones.
